Is it normal that i have began to love metalcore?

I have listened to bands like Bring Me the horizon and found it is somewhat of my style. I thought if I love metal and rock then I must like metalcore, I am kinda on the look out for other bands to listen to. I may have a narrow taste in music but I like to listen to other bands as well as listening to people's suggestions on what I like to listen to.
