Is it normal that i have different personalities around different people?

My immediate family members and my best friend know me as a weird, crackpot, fun to be with human being. My friends think I'm the studious, intelligent prankster. Acquaintances think that I'm a well mannered, good to talk with person. And strangers think that I'm a wallflower. At home, I'm an introvert but with my gang of friends I'm an introvert-ed extrovert. Even my best friend never knew most of the things going in my mind, how I was feeling etc. I sometimes feel that I'm a hypocrite because I'm not able to show who I am to people around me. And at other times I feel that I'm someone without any personality of own.

People show different sides of themselves to different people. I act differently when I'm around my different friends, and different when I'm around my family members, and when I'm around my dog, and when I'm around strangers, and when I'm alone. I'm still the same person, just showing different sides. I don't think anyone behaves exactly the same way regardless of who they're with.

My dad and mom think that I'm a cute little baby, my sister thinks I am evil and my friends honk that I'm an ugly stupid person. Strangers think I'm shy, and relatives think that I'm kind and shy.

Normal. It would be in appropriate to have a single behaviour at all times. Yu wouldn't act the same at a club as you would at a funeral.

Same here, it's more of I thing that everyone develops, but I can't say I'm that much different than you, at least to the degree of how you change your personality to match your surrounds. When I was young I also asked myself what my true personality was and I figured out that now my true personality is the fact I have multiple personalities. I do know though, when I'm alone my personality is way more relaxed and I tend to be able to think more clearly. Yet till this day I still change my personality to match the situation, I think it's an adaption skill.

Jah 100% the same here, i think everyone is like that to a certain degree, people are complicated, they're not the 1 dementional stereotypes you see on TV and in movies, They change theyre behavorial pattern to fit into whatever situation theeyre in (Office, going out with friends; around strangers in public places) Its the sum of all of these that make you who you are
