Is it normal that i keep having sex dreams about my ex-best friend?

Our friendship ended a little over two years ago, but this past week and a half I've been having dreams in which we are making out, baring our souls to each other, or in the case of last night- me eating her out.
I've recently contacted her via facebook to "clear the air" between us, but not much has come of it besides casual conversations that feel so much like it used to be.
When we were friends we were inseparable, and even then I had questions about my sexuality when it came to her.
I'm a 19 year old girl, by the way.

    you miss her.. that's what I think. dreams are metaphors, they are seldom literal. why not try to invite her to go out or do something? and if they moment is right, tell her that you've missed her. She might feel the same way, since your friendship was mutual, this might be as well. Perhaps she's just busy working and maybe has a boyfriend or whatnot.

    It can mean that you miss her or have you. Had any type of feelings for her that maybe cause you to get aroused when you think of her...also dreams usually a mixture of your thought throughout the day..

    Dreams are your subconscious way of telling you something. Sex could mean a longing or a desire for things to go back the way they were before with her. Keep at it, time heals all wounds. Good luck.
