Is it normal that i lie to people in their face just for the laughs?

I picked up this compulsive quirk because I used to do weird things, which people were shocked to hear about. A lot of the time I lie now just for the reaction. Most people don't laugh... they have a look like they don't know how to process what I just said. Because I seem totally serious about it. Until I'm alone when I laugh my ass off... is this considered trolling?

    I do the same thing sometimes, but I always tell them. It can be fun to see the reactions to saying outrageous things. But I could never not tell them the truth afterwards. For me that's the difference between joking and lying.

      I would tell them I was kidding too, except that they usually don't believe that I was making it up, and that I'm now trying to hide something.

        Maybe they're lying just to see your reaction. You've annoyed them and you're a bad liar and they're turning the tables.

        Even if that's not the case and they are being serious, that should tell you you're not very good at this game...you're not picking prime topics to lie/joke about.
