Whenever I am excited or nervous I always bite my fingers...is it normal?

Older sister keeps her nails very long and polished. They're amazing. She has a habit of tapping her nails to her lips, and nibbling on either one or several nails. Just a habit she has that's also very fun to watch.

It's a habit and habits die hard, It's unhealthy but a completely normal thing to do.
