I like Meowth because I think its a cute Pokémon, I prefer the one from the Kanto region than the one from the Alola and Galar region. I also like it because Meowth is by far one of the best antagonists in the Pokémon anime. But also I keep Meowth on my Pokéwalker ( yes I surprisingly still play HeartGold for me to mention about it. ) but it also used to confuse me as kid as to why Meowth talked in the anime.

    It's been a decade since I've heard someone mention a Pokewalker. The older pokemon games were so great!

    I remember in the anime, Meowth talked about how he fell in love with a female Meowth named Meowzie. She rejected him, and said that she preferred humans. So Meowth taught himself how to speak.

      I remember that episode! He spied on an adult language class and learned to speak from "she sells sea shells by the sea shore"

        I kind of felt bad for him. He put all that effort into changing himself only for Meowzie to still reject him. XD

      Its a good thing I'm never going to sell or get rid of my Pokéwalker that I bought in 2010, I heard they sell a lot nowadays.

        I'm kind of surprised yours still works. Everyone I knew that had one had to go through more than one because they stopped working at some point. That's cool that yours still functions.

          I mean it did survive despite some of the slight scratches it has been given.

          I may even use my Pokéwalker for some good old exercise, while looking at my level 100 Espeon ( which I transferred from Colosseum usually anything you transfer from Colosseum/XD would read that it comes from Distant land ) on the screen while treating it like as if it is my pet. That'd be kinda cool in real life walking a pet Espeon.

    I think Meowth is a very cute pokemon! Definitely one of my favorites. I definitely have a thing for the cat/cat-like pokemon. :-)

    I have a talking Meowth I got at 12-14. It still works as far as I know!

    Same! My interest stopped after Johto, but I still play Pokémon go. My username there is even a reference to meowth. Though I’m not really into the new generations, Alolan meowth’s face always makes me laugh.

    The new Pokémon game is fine only its just a bit lackluster for me. Though I would say that for eg. Sword and Shield appeared to have been very easy for me. Newer Pokémon games have become easier and easier a little bit like the Kalos region (X,Y) or the Alola region ( Sun/Moon/Ultra Sun/ Ultra Moon ).
