Is it normal that i like to eat my boogers both privately and publicly?

This is something that I've been doing for a few years after a strange curiosity triggered it. It doesn't matter where I am, whether home, school, a restaurant, etc... I get that privately it may be fine, but I'm not sure if it's normal to not be concerned about where I am when I eat one. Therefore, I've included both privately and publicly in the title, but I am still more concerned about my public habits.
