Is it normal that i like to read wikipedia pages for 30 minutes to an hour?

Sometimes I wonder something, and then read the Wikipedia article. I'll see a link to another page that seems interesting, and open a new tab for that. Eventually I'll end up with 10 or so Wikipedia tabs open and an hour lost. Is that a normal thing that normal people do?

Happens to me all the time! My sister is the same way! We both have our different reasons for doing so. We've actually had several discussions about 'how far down the rabbit hole' we've gone on certain topics!

As I wrote this question, I had four pages open about the Cyrillic alphabet/script. I don't even remember WHY I wanted to look.

I like to play this game where I start out reading the SpongeBob page, click a clickable word in the article, read that article, click a clickable word in that article, and so on. It goes on for hours and I don't stop until I reach the SpongeBob page again.

I've gone from Lamborghini Reventón to genocide in 5 clicks. It's super common to go down the rabbit hole much further than even that.

I've spent most of my day on wikipedia on a few different occasions.

I once wasted an entire bus ride reading the Wikipedia page for Ammonia.
