Is it normal that i'm 22, and most music i listen to is from the 70s and 80s?
99% Of the music that I consume is from the 70s and 80s. I don't give a flying fuck about the music from the past 30 years, it's lame.

Ok jokes aside its a lot more normal than you think. Honestly going to parties are such a drag because all they play is today's pop music, which I respect as a musician but I seriously cannot bring myself to enjoy the squeaky clean unimaginative over-produced commercial garbage.
But then again.... thanks to the internet theres a bunch of kids who think their taste in music is "unique" because they listen to led zeppelin or UFO so... It's still pretty common. You (and I) are yet one of many who claim they are the black sheep.
I'm 26 and also listen primarily to '70s and '80s music. I grew up with it and never really found much I liked as well as, or better than, it! It has never gotten old to me. I think it has a fun and catchy sound to it. I also really like a lot of other things about those decades, such as the movies, cars (at least aesthetically; I admittedly don't know much about cars, but like the look of the ones from that era, plus the comfy interior of some of the ones I remember riding in as a kid), architecture and interior design, fashion, design, etc. They just seem like really cool times to me!
Sure, it's normal and not that uncommon. I'm also a young adult and listen to older music (70s, but 90s too). Today's music just doesn't do anything for me - too much autotune, less and less real instruments, crappy lyrics.
Sounds normal to me! Very little product from the last 30 years is worth listening to.
I’m way older but always have SiriusXM “80’s On 8” playing in my car. It was the best music for melodies, rhythm and lyrics too.
