Is it normal that i'm 20 and still scared of the dark?

I'm really scared of the dark. I completely freak out. Even if I'm with someone else, I still feel really scared and have to hold their hands or have them hold me. I know that I'm way too old for this, but I can't make it stop.

    I,m also scared of dark and i,m 23. I dont think its normal, but its not abnormal either.
