Is it normal that i'm a caffeine fiend, yet i'm not addicted to it?
I adore coffee, tea, energy drinks, all of it. Always have. I drink a small pot of coffee nearly every morning and I often drink an energy drink in the middle of my day to keep me going. I've done this off and on for nearly a decade, but I simply don't suffer any negative side effects when I decide not to drink any caffeine for a change.
I might itch for it the same way you would any habit, but I still don't get "headaches, anxiety, or other typical side effects" when I cut caffeine out for a while.
I'm also like this with other stimulants. I LOVE nicotine and the little head change it gives me, but if I don't have it around I'm okay. I care more about the "delivery method" than the "drug" itself apparently.
I'm a vaper btw lol. I adore vaping and making big clouds, the nicotine is a great bonus, but if there's no nicotine then I'm still fine.
To go a step further I am also like this with Adderall...Adderall XR 30 mg to be specific. Long story, but I was falsely diagnosed with ADHD and I just kinda rolled with it...
I fucking adored that shit.xD It freaked me out too though. I eventually just quit it completely, and, surprisingly enough, I was just fine afterwards.
I'm just curious if anyone else has had similar experiences with stimulants, be it caffeine or otherwise. Thanks for reading.
