Is it normal that i'm a girl who couldn't finish 50 shades cos she was bored ??

I love to read & I’ve always been big on fantasy, elves, dragons, magic jewellery etc. I've never read erotica, so I thought I’d give this a go for a change, having just turned 30.

I've always thought to be in a relationship, you need to have something in common & actually get on as friends as well. I just thought Anna & Christian didn't seem to do/have either, & she seemed afraid of him. Neither of them seemed able to cope without the other. & all that talk of fullness, being close, etc. just made me think she'd better get to the toilet quickly. It made me feel …... well, nothingy.

I was so bored I gave up & started on a Terry Pratchett. The minute I opened that & started reading, it was like seeing a glass of water after being in the desert; like having a gigantic poo after being constipated for a week; like a huge slice of cake after being on a diet. is it normal ??

"like having a gigantic poo after being constipated for a week", by far the best simile I've ever read.

Yes it's perfectly normally just because you are a girl or a boy doesn't mean you have to like certain things.

Yes, it's certainly normal to be smarter and more interesting than those that like trendy trash.

You should really try the audio books read by Becca Battoe, the books are amazing you need to read all the book it more than the erotica its the story line you need to focus on

I've been meaning to read it, but I've been too busy having actual intercourse.

Just kidding! I never meant to read it.

I used to like the Sleeping Beauty series by Anne Rice writing under a pseudonym, last name Roquelaire, I believe, not Googling it, too lazy and too busy having actual intercourse.

    Totally normal!!!

    yes its normal
I read the first one on the internet to see what the hype was all about and it was a real disappointment.
Not only because of the non-existant plot (all they do is have sex, force her to eat, go out, repeat) but it was really cringe worthy:
    -my inner goddess bullshit
    -holy shit/ holy crap/holy cow/oh shit / oh crap/ etc....
