Is it normal that i'm afraid of looking out windows at night?

pretty self explanatory. i'm fucking terrified of looking outside of wherever i am at night. my bedroom window has like 5 blankets and sheets covering it just to make sure there's no part of the window that's uncovered. it's the idea of looking out the window and having something look back that just scares the pants off me. it's even hard for me to leave the house at night because i get freaked out about what could be out there. once i'm in the car and whatever i'm normally fine. during the day, totally fine. but god damn dude, at night, windows are a big fat NOPE

It's not normal. You are being paranoid. I suggest going through medical tests (just to make sure that you are good) and if everything is favorable go out around your house with someone and explore. You will be okay after this excersice. Fear emerges when we are unaware about something. Your knowledge about outside sorrounding will diminish the fear inside you.

Just turn off the lights and peek through the blinds. If a hideous monster face is staring back at you nose to nose with only the glass to separate the two of you then go ahead and dial 911 once the urine has finished running down your leg. Then again the 911 emergency operator probably won't be able to tell so no need to wait til you've finished pissing yourself.

Ideally one of two things should happen once the authorities arrive, either the police will arrest the hideous prowling monster, or the people in the clean white coats will take to to a special hospital ward where you can get the help you need. Either way the problem will work it's way out once you confront it so don't be afraid just take a peek through the window. You might be surprised with what goes down.
