Is it normal that i'm extremely happy that depp won?

I was falsely accused of rape by my girlfriend when I was 15 years old, and won the lawsuit. Seeing Amber Heard lose in court makes me happy. Women who do this to innocent men deserve what's coming to them.

Yeah fuck that bitch for doing this. Theres nothing more shameful than a false allegation to try to put yourself on a pedestal. Too many fucked up ppl try to play morally superior.

I’ve only given examples of the abuse done by Depp because there is already a unanimous decision of who is “in the wrong” on this site. And the post is about pro-Depp to the point of “extreme happiness”. Which would put in a Devil’s Advocate position if I say anything that isn’t pro-Depp. Amber’s treatment of Depp is horrible. Her quote where she says “Go tell them, I a man, was abused” or something like that, is based in truth of how there is a cultural trend of pretending men can’t be abused.

So I repeat in sincerity - I am not on a side, and I’m not going to take one. Pretty damn rare behavior for me tbh cause (obviously) I fuckin love taking sides and dying on a hill.

And here is my most controversial take on this, which I foolishly ask you to not focus too heavily on, I almost don’t care what the truth is in this trial. I’m that uninterested in taking a side on this particular event. Because what I am being subtle about is I know that this is going to create a massive reactionary anti-movement based on a, now very popular, whataboutism.

There were male victims of falsehood caught up in the #MeToo movement, I can see female victims now being accused of “Pulling an Amber”. The cultural impact of this trial is what I care about. This trial will be abused many times as an example in attempt to discredit victims.

These things move like trends. Taking turns on who’s the “popular” protected group. People “pick a side” and apply it outside of the event. My initial comment was made while cringing at what I know is about to come. Because I don’t find anything funny or amusing about this.

Again, I’m not taking a stance. I think it’s silly to take a stance on a trial about two drug addict Hollywood freak shows.
There’s been a very gross spinoff of this whole ordeal, some weirdo even tattooed Depp’s lawyer on their body.

Depp is an absolute drug addict alcoholic who wrote multiple texts about murdering Heard. Talked about mutilating and SAing a corpse. This dude is your hero ? Worth being “extremely happy” and “cheering” about ?

I don’t believe in agreeing to disagree. I just find it fucking weird that the dudes who are dead silent about actual trauma are so - excited - for this thing. That’s what’s gross, the enjoyment. Creepy.

It reminds me about another scenario where a “movement” decided to use a dude / who was justifiably wronged / as a figurehead. And come to find out the dude was an absolute criminal. The “protesters” of said movement disregarded the truth completely and hid behind the horrible choice of champion as the reason.

Depp was guilty of multiple cases of abuse, said in a text he would “fuck her burnt corpse afterward to make sure she was dead”

Depp abused her, Amber abused him, Amber was punished for talking about it, even though she never said his name.

Anybody who champions Depp is a weirdo. Anybody who champions Amber is a weirdo.

They’re both fuckin awful, taking sides on something like this is freak behavior. Buncha weirdos circle jerking over two abusive freaks playing with millions of dollars

I absolutely agree. If anything she may have been the one to start the abuse but JD definitely joined in.
