Is it normal that i'm losing weight even though i'm exercising less?

Tomorrow, I'm going to catch a flight to go to the Dominican Republic. I spent the past three months losing some weight so that I could look decent during my vacation. I was on a consistent routine of jogging until about a week ago, which means I have been going on daily walks during my last seven days, but I avoided jogging. While I was on my jogging routine, I was losing weight consistently and eating normally. For the past week though, I have not only been walking, but I have also been spending less time exercising and eating less. I guess I decided to take it easy during my last week here. As for my eating, I just randomly started to lose some of my appetite. Even though I'm exercising less, I'm still losing weight as I did before, but I guess it's because less food doesn't help to balance out the equation. Is this my body's way of telling me to take it easy?

As long as it doesn't become too much I wouldn't complain.
