Is it normal that i'm losing weight fast on topamax?

I lost 6 pounds in the twelve days that I've been taking Topamax so far. Before I started taking Topamax, I was 147 pounds. Now, I weigh 141 pounds, which I'm not complaining about, but it sure is alarming (in a good way). Normally, I would be out there sweating bucket loads of sweat out of my pores and eating super clean in order to lose weight. However, Topamax has eliminated that out of the equation for me because it has given me a lack of appetite. I'm not used to losing weight so effortlessly, especially since I honestly eat like a pig normally, but it is a side effect of this drug. I feel like I'll look like a mannequin in another month or two.

I don't know what topamax is, but I intend to google it and find out more about it.

I'm on lots of different medications for medical issues and at least 2 or 3 of them cause weight gain. I exercise and am careful about what I eat, but find it impossible to lose weight, which I need to do for medical reasons.
