Is it normal that i'm scared of mickey mouse and barney?

OK so I'm in a relationship with my boyfriend and he has 3 kids. 2 boys and 1 girl. The boys are 10 and 12. The girl is 5 and she loves Barney and Mickey Mouse. One time she asked me to watch it with her so I did but both of them freaked me out because Barney has big black eyes and Mickey Mouse voice creeps me out.Is that normal?
