Is it normal that i'm very fond of trains?

I've always loved trains myself. Growing up I found the sound of the nearby passing train quite soothing. Especially the sound of a passing freight train, one with many fully loaded cars, at 2 or 3 in the morning. A pure delight for a young boy such as myself. Sound familiar? So I think that your love of trains is normal. Yet you may want to look at how excessive that love may be. I only ask that you reflect on it. Who am I to say this is not good for you? I am a train lover myself. I just think that too much of anything is usually not good. But know that there are others like you and I who share this passion for the rails. Have a wonderful day.

That's brilliant! Riding trains it is a fun hobby. I like aerocrafts and even trains too.

I like exploring disused railways, finding old tunnels and bridges etc. that have survived. Lots of Britain's smaller lines were sadly closed in the mid 1960s, so there are plenty of interesting old features to find.

They're always late.... They smell of piss... Fares are extortionate and as soon as a few leaves hit the tracks they stop!!

I love trains. Hence my name. :) Especially love the history of older railroads that have merged, or got bought out over the past 100 years. I take pictures and videos of trains. I collect model trains. I have a train horn and bell on my truck lol. Be careful around tracks, and never walk on tracks! It might sound stupid, but people get hit by trains all the time. Mostly when wearing headphones so they don't hear the train blowing its horn. It takes over a mile for a 50mph train to stop.
