Is it normal that i memorize facts about female actresses?

I often memorize facts about my favorite female celebrities (mainly actresses and models). These facts include their date of birth, city they were born in, places they grew up, names of their parents, names and birthdays of their siblings, high schools and colleges they went to, their past and current relationships, (if they are married) their anniversary, their height, their ethnic background (the specific countries their ancestors came from - for example, England and Germany), and (if they have children) names and birthdays of their kids. I know it's a total waste of time doing this and it's hard to remember these things for more than a few actresses, but it makes me feel closer to them.
