Is it normal that i obsess on what happens to my consciousness when i sleep?

It seems that the brain is a sloshy organ. So, when I'm unconscious, it seems like it's just a brain, and no consciousness. It has to go somewhere or be stored somewhere or else every time my body woke up, the brain would make a new consciousness. This gives me fits. Suggests that consciousness is somehow independent of the body at some level, but I don't want to get religious. Thanks!

do you mean your subconscious mind?

I try to listen and watch hypnosis videos that are for confidence fearlessness extrovert and mp3 of positive affirmations every night.

that way i can think of good subconscious thoughts and itll stay and imbed in my brain and make me what i want to be. and it really works, I feel more like a leader and i act like a leader.

It doesn't go anywhere. You're still partially conscious when you're asleep. That's why you're able to dream, and why when you wake up, you have a sense that time has passed. If you lose consciousness completely, there's no sense of that. Time just skips (or at least, this is my experience. It might vary according to the level of unconsciousness).
