Is it normal that i often stop my self from smiling & it turns into a smirk?

Sometimes I'll be around a friend and they may do or say something cute & I'll just automatically half smile. Its kinda like smirking I guess but I do it in a friendly way. Its like I'm trying to with hold a smile because generally I do smile a lot. I think its just a cute thing to do, the whole half smile thing but I haven't noticed anyone do this so is this normal/common?

    Nothing wrong with that except if you are looking at them naked.
