Sometimes when I'm alone at night, I close all the blinds, bring in the cats, put on an Italian opera record(usually Verdi), get naked, and make omelettes. Is this normal?
This does sound like fun... But, I don't even enjoy being naked in my own home much less in front of my own cat. (We don't have curtains downstairs!)
I chat with friends online all day, but as soon as the sun sets, I turn off my internet and shut them all out while I play skyrim in the dark.
No it is not weird...everyone needs to unwind in a healthy way before they start torturing little kittens or beating their wives. How you relax or blow off steam can keep you out of trouble if done in such a peaceful way. Keep at it...at least you are not trolling for kicks online for that purpose or scream at your cat....that would just rise your bloodpressure and get you into the morgue before your time...unless you are apathetic and feel nothing - no emotion - when you "unwind" in an unhealthy way as described.
I think Verdi is one of the most over-hyped Opera-writers of the late nineteenth century.
