Is it normal that i prefer the first terminator movie over the second?

The popular consensus seems to be that Terminator 2 was the best movie in the franchise. I disagree. I liked the first one more. That one had that 80s charm and atmosphere to it.

    They're OK. Arnold Schwarzenegger kicks ass in the movie.

    Me too. Linda Hamilton was much cuter in it. Especially in the parking garage when she ad Reese are sneaking between the cars.

    I preferred it for a while because the good guy from the future in the first movie is hawt. But no the second one is by far the best in my opinion
