Is it normal that i really hate other people having the same stuff as me?

I really cannot stand when people buy or have the same things as me. Not that I want them to have crappier stuff, or no stuff at all, but just not the SAME stuff. Example: I upgraded my phone and a family member saw how much better THE BOX was than hers. So she went and traded her brand new phone for the SAME phone as mine. I wouldn't of even cared if she went and got a 10x better phone than mine.
Example #2: I just bought an awesome new camera--so happy, and a Co-worker who's a photographer bought the same camera just a model better than mine. Didn't bother me a bit. Now another co-worker wants to get a camera, and wants the exact same as mine. She doesn't even know how to use it! UGhhh! So annoyed! What kind of person does this make me? Is there a word for this?

    Someone most likely owns 99% of the things you do. The solution is to make your own stuff from scratch. It's easy and fun!!

      thats why i made myself a digital camera outta some sticks and selenium i found in my back yard

    Things are mass produced ... like I dont understand your irritation?
    Even things on etsy ... like example a Christmas phone cover designed. Your most likely not the only person in the whole wide world to buy it from the sane seller.
    Dulse is right just hand make your things..then you will be free of this "problem"
    Also I agree 1st world problem...

    First world problems. Out of all things in life, you would choose to be upset over something so little? Who cares if they have the same stuff? None of it matters.
