Is it normal that i really like the feeling of thin materials under my nails?

I'm 20 now, and I've been doing it since I was a young boy. I've always really enjoyed/been calmed down by the feeling of a specific thin material running under my nails. It's the material that is on almost all zippers (like a jacket). Like, the excess material that is on stuff like matresses, jackets, or the ends of some bed sheets that haven't been sewn up. I find myself doing it all the time, especially at times where I'm stressed or anxious. I've tried to look it up but sadly nothing has shown up. Is it normal? If so, does anyone have a name for it? Possibly some kind of disorder or something?
Please and thank you!

I think its your mannerism. A habit or characteristic manner. I have mannerism too like counting and checking things so many times. Its because I have obsessive-compulsive disorder. And orderliness is my thing. Atleast it helps you during your stress and anxious times.
