Is it normal that i really want to go to chernobyl?
I heard that they have guided tours in Pripyat. I think it would be really cool to go on that tour.

Hollywood's version has little to do with the reality of what is at Chernobyl and how it is managed.
He'd be quite safe for a normal tour, and any such tour will not be allowed to enter any area that still has high levels of radiation.
The nice thing about radiation is that it is from the radioactive decay of materials to a safer state and most of the materials have short or modest half lives. Its been 35 years - and the majority of the original radioactive materials have decayed to much lower - if not insignificant levels.
Other than the reactor fuel itself the biggest issue at this point is Cobalt 60, which does not exist in much quantity in the type of reactor involved as very little cobalt was used in the materials used to construct the reactor or the boiling water circuit.
That's actually more of a concern in a Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) where cobalt is needed in the metal alloys for the reactor and primary loop to contain the high pressures at the temperatures of a PWR.

It'd be a cool tour; and no real hazard.
Most of the radiation has decayed on the area; and you will not be allowed anywhere near the parts of the power plant that still have significant radiation.
If I set it up in advance I could probably gain access to areas of the plant with modest levels of radiation due to my specific interest in certain things and experience.
I'm an experienced nuclear plant worker who has had all the radiation training (and know how to dress out and how to use dosimeters) - and I exist in an international data base of nuclear plant workers. I would not be allowed near the really hot areas of the plant (even the local staff needs a real reason to get permission to enter those areas).
