I wasted 10 years of my life on drugs. From like aged 14 to 24 or 25 I was just running around doing dope. Now Im in my 30s playing catchup. I think I've damaged my brain as well. Its the biggest regret of my life.
Its very normalized today to smoke weed and take xanax or percs or whatever but its just terrible. You should stay away. If I could show young ppl a time machine of all their druggy friends in 15 years they wouldnt do it. Half will be dead the other half will be working really shitty jobs and live in poverty. Its also the worst time to be a druggy because theyre literally cutting every drug with fentanyl now. I know a dude who went into a bathroom in a bar to do a line of coke he bought and he came out and died on the floor of the bar.

Marijuana and Psychedelics may have non toxic physiological and psychological effects on ones body but aren't on the same scale of danger as Tobacco, Alcohol, and other synthesized drugs that have a very low median lethal dose. I can always reason with wanting to take hallucinogens. Mostly non addictive and makes you see new colors.
Now hard drugs like cocaine, meth and heroin I do not see the point. Too high risks for a high that's not very good for yourself.
Worst thing that can happen with weed is you being catatonic in a couch unable to even comprehend reality. Lsd on the other hand has a astronomically small chance to give you schizophrenia

It's normal as the substances you're seeking are within boundaries of what the body can physically and mentally handle such as cannabis(marijuana, and hash) in acceptable quantities, may as well experiment carefully with psychedelics while having someone trusted trip sit you so you don't injure, or harm yourself in process as reaction to the effects you're going to experience.
