Is it normal that i removed my own gum flap around my wisdom tooth?
I have a wisdom tooth erupting on the left side of my mouth. There was a gum flap over that wisdom tooth. I was able to use my tongue to play with it because it was actually able to lift up. It got so loose that considered pulling it out, and I actually did. Fortunately, it was not too painful, but it did take some time. I just grabbed a pair of tweezers and reached back there. I pulled it back and forth with the tweezers until it eventually budged. At that point, it was completely detached from the rest of my gum. I was relieved because that gum flap had driven me mad. It's a lot easier for me to clean that tooth properly now. It also feels more comfortable to have that open space back there.
