Is it normal that i search for meanings to my dreams?

Every time I have any different kind of dream I search for its meaning on the internet and try to relate it with my circumstances.

Rescently I had a dream about a panther and I drove it away by attacking it with bricks from a higher place out of its reach.

I found following interpretation on the internet.

If you dream that the panther is scared and runs away, then in reality you will defend your own point of view, thereby achieve the desired. Such a dream means that the dreamer should show leadership and not be afraid to remain outnumbered.

I don't know if I should believe in those explanations. Are they true or superstitious writings?

Many people have tried to interpret their dreams, I for one have Tried to see meaning in them.

Many a person has tried to study dreams and equate them to their waking selves, as well as for others, but we understand very little about dreams , just like how little we understand of our minds in general.

So, its possible for dreams to have meaning, despite the often nonsensical nature of them, and its possible every dream is as random and devoid of meaning as a computer screensaver. Perhaps, maybe something in-between.

For now, the true nature of dreams is an uncertainty.

Dreams can be great or weird. I enjoy my good ones and try to forget about the weird ones.

I do so occasionally but it was mainly because I'd always use dream dictionaries to help me come up with deep-sounding interpretations in my high school literature essays.

I took a psychology class in high-school with a teacher that used to make us write things down in a dream journal and tell them to the whole class. I once had to get up and tell the class about a dream where I cut my penis off and then tried to stick it back on with scotch-tape.

Hey, if you don't mind my asking what Japanese Animé movie is that in your profile? It reminds me of Ninja Scroll and looks cool. Thanks.

        Berserk.

Don't watch if you're squeamish, sensitive, or prone to nightmares.

Brutal bloody and violent animé is my cup of tea. Watch Vampire Hunter D (original) as blood lust kinda sucks it's my favourite animé movie of all time it you haven't seen it.

Thanks for the replay Golgo 13 I'll be watching your Beserk soon.

I hate to take a break when I saw a girl on a horse kill a demon with a laser gun.

My, how subtle of you you're a funny guy.

You should give it a chance as some animé has 4play aka story and perhaps more to it then a 5 minute jahkoft load-blow you don't need romance all you need is a table dance.

Devilman ova is another good one.

              tit fuck her ass.

There are no meanings in dreams but we can add meanings to them.

If you were to sum up all of the meaninglessness in your dreams and compare that to what you know makes sense when your awake you'd have to pop LSD to process that one.
