Is it normal that i see black figures?

I've noticed recently that my sleep schedule has gotten even more hectic. My usual 6 hours of sleep have been replaced with 3 to 4 hours and constantly waking up about every hour or so. I know that is so because when I usually go to sleep to videos designed to help relax people, they are usually about 40 minutes to an hour long and when I do wake up I look over to my video and it is only half way through or something. All of that is not the real issue, the real issue is that sometimes when I do wake up I see black objects that seem to fall from my ceiling, they vary in shape. Like some nights it'll be like sprinkles of black while other nights it looks like black hair or even black balls of spikes (similar to sea urchins). I even experienced a green ball of spikes which also descended from my ceiling. While I see these things fall I feel completely conscious like I know what's going on and i'll tell myself it'll be over soon and surprisingly I don't feel scared at all. Sometimes when I do see the objects I also get a weird feeling in my leg, it feels as if it wants to kick? it feels really twitchy and I have to put my other leg on top of it to stop it. Is this at all normal? Has any one else experienced this?

It seems to be sleep paralysis, meaning you're still dreaming most of the time. If you don't get scared, you are on the lucky side of people experiencing sleep paralysis, as most get terrified. There's a way out of this kind of situation if you wish to stop it.

Sleep paralysis is a state of mind where you are on the brink of a dream and you can jump into a dream (lucid at that if you succeed).

A method you can use is try to propel your body forward, like sitting up really quick if you will.
Since you're in a dream and your body is paralysed, you will move your dream-body and willingly change dreams.

This is a bit of advice from a lucid dreamer, it does sound quite trippy but it does the work for most, hope it helps you get out of sleep paralysis.

Normally when I become lucid while I sleep I just wake up... I know I'm not the author or anything but do you know how to make your brain not freak out and stay asleep? Because when I do stay asleep it's so cool
