Is it normal that i sometimes can't tell the difference from dreams and real?

I'm young. I exercise, and I'm generally happy and healthy. Recently, my memory has been deteriorating. My memory is typically fantastic. It's said to be one of my strong points. The past few months though, I'll forget what I'm doing, what I'm saying, what I'm thinking halfway through doing it. Sometimes I'll be in the middle of a sentence and I'll start it and repeat the beginning several times before I can remember what I was going to say. What's most troubling though is that I've had some pretty realistic dreams that I can't tell whether or not they're true, even days later. I'll write some papers in a dream and I won't realize that I didn't actually get them done until I have to turn it in. It's starting to really cause some issues. Is there anything I can do about it?

Talk to a medical professional. He or she would likely know far more about your condition than any of us.

I generally avoid drugs and definitely avoid hallucinogenic ones. It's not really an issue with drugs. It's mostly that, after having a dream, I sometimes don't realize that it's a dream until days later.

If you can't distinguish reality from dreams then do some reality checks like reading one sentence in a book, close it and if the same sentence is still there you are in reality. You can also ook at digital watches.
