I kinda like it even though for about 7 years I have been listening to it despite it not being my type of thing ( I am more goth than emo. ), I like a couple of their songs though but I'm not like one of my friends who is a all the way hard-core fan of MCR.
Am I normal though?
It's like how I feel about Morrissey, I like him, but there's only so much I can like someone who would want to feud with the great Robert Smith!

I prefer The Smiths to Morrissey on his own.
Also, he's a fucking dickhead. A very talented dickhead, whose music I listen to very frequently and really appreciate, but still a dickhead, none the less.
It's always so disappointing to see him talk at festivals or in interviews, because he never fails to be a dick. Such a shame because his music is genius.
MCR fans do suffer from the stereotype of the creepily obsessed fan who meticulously copies their outfits and make up and listens to every album every day whilst sobbing. There was a trend at one point to go to Gerard Way’s old house and take photos in-front of the gate which crossed so many lines.
Most of the fans I’ve met in real life have actually been normal people who just like their music. It’s a case of the worst people in a fanbase being the loudest.
I would fucking hate it if people were doing that outside of my house. It's not as if the people who live there now have anything to do with it. Definitely crossing lines
MCR is fine but I kinda hate the fans, to be fair most bands have annoying fans and butthurt ones.
Yes it's normal to like bands or to just like a few of their songs....... I was a huge fan of them like many former emo kids. Nowadays I don't listen to emo-music.
I mean I only like a few of their songs some of them are ok but some are just meh. Some of the emos love to give the emo community a really bad name ( I have observed this myself through going into other websites. ), I don't all the way listen to emo music as much as I did.
