Is it normal that i stick ice up my butt when my hemorrhoids hurt?

Sometimes, my hemorrhoids hurt really bad after using the bathroom. They get really swollen and always get this burning pain that feels like acid.

This happened to me the other day and I just wanted my butthole to feel better, so I took a long piece of ice (from a popsicle tray) and stuck it right up my butthole. It felt so much better right away. It also felt a bit uncomfortable, not in a bad way, but just because it was so cold. But it also felt really good at the same time. I let the ice melt completely while it was in there. I will definitely do this again the next time my hemorrhoids hurt.

If it works it works. There are probably better avenues that could've been taken, but the Inuit buttplug technique takes a lot of bravery and that's seriously admirable

You really need diaper rash lotion and prep H. Also eat onions.

    • Should I get the Preparation H suppositories though? Also, I didn't know onions were good for my hemorrhoids.

Only use Preparation H suppositories in case of emergency. but the lotion is good for everyday use

Honestly, I'm in a similar situation and have been thinking about doing the same thing.

My husband has hemmorhoids and I laugh and laugh at his descriptions of the pain they cause him. He even dreams about them, like one dream he told me was that he was tied to stakes in the desert and his ass was exposed and getting sunburnt and vultures were pecking at his ass hole! Hilarious stuff.

I mean, I put hailstones in my vagina. So I guess it's not that weird

    • That must feel so cold! I hope it feels really good though. If it does, then that will be my next outlet to introduce ice into. Also, do those hailstones not get stuck to the inside of your vagina if they're frozen solid?

Since I have a "thing" for tornadoes and storms in general. It feels good! You'd think they would, but they melt very quickly when they touch warm skin.

        • Awesome! That explains it perfectly! I'm glad it doesn't get stuck when you stick it up there. I feel even more inclined to get some pleasure from the ice dildo (with ice from my popsicle tray) after I get home from walking on the trail. Oh, my little clam is in for a treat soon.

If you eat enough fiber in your diet they should go away

    • I do eat plenty of fiber for the most part, but I still have those freaking roids. I've had them since I was born.

I found from experience that too much fiber can cause issues too, if you eat "plenty" maybe you are eating too much

Are you having a bowel movement everyday? You probably stay abit backed up. If you are going once or twice a day they should go away.

        • I try to have a bowel movement everyday because I know it's not good to skip days. Still, I've only been able to manage having a bowel movement on most days, but not all days. I think you're right about me staying backed up.

I got them too when I took opiates they stopped me up bad. They were terrible at one point but I started taking a liquor-shot of liquid magnesium citrate every day and they went away since I go everyday.

            They fuckin hurt tho.

            • How long did you take the magnesium citrate for? I never thought of using a small amount of it everyday.
