Is it normal that i think about death a lot?

I was thinking about some nightmares I had when I was younger and began dreaming of death. Just losing my loved ones and being able to see only black. Can someone tell me if it's normal to have a fear of death along with trying to understand death and what it is?

This means that death will come in a near future for you. You might want to spend all your money and enjoy the last days you got left.

If your alive it's normal to think about your death.

I totally know where you're coming from . I was never afraid of death until my first child was born . Then all of a sudden there wasn't a day that went by where I didn't think about death . I took it day by day and even went as far to quit drinking alcohol and getting exercise at least 3 days a week and eating healthy . 20 yrs later I'm still here and don't think about death as much as I used to .

I already think about it a lot, but I believe it will become an even bigger issue once I have kids. It would feel horrible to die and leave them alone in the world before they became independent adults.

I can't feel much of how you feel since I currently don't have a child or even a girlfriend or wife.

It's normal to think about it sometimes since we all know it will happen to all of us someday, but don't get obsessive about it to where it starts interfering with your day to day life and gets in the way of you enjoying life. Don't let it keep you from enjoying life.

To think about it ALL the time will drive you nuts. If you're healthy just enjoy life every day. Death will come knocking when it will.

Don't sweat it. Live each day and have fun. We only get one chance so make it good. Death will come in its time. Don't dwell on it.

Sometimes I fear death and sometimes I don't. A few days ago I felt so awful that I was practically praying for a heart attack or a stroke. Ever since that crazy drama went down in my life my blood pressure has been through the roof even though I take medication for it. By the way I hate high blood pressure medication, because it makes me feel like crap.

Normal to some extent, but not to the extent that it prevents you enjoying life. That would be letting death win before it's time!

If you're normal then you SHOULD fear death. It's also normal to think about it a lot.
