It seems like everyone has an Iphone these days, even little kids and old folks. I'm starting to feel that I am the only person who does not have one!! Its so darn expensive, and what is really the specialty of it anyways? If one just has a laptop, and mediocre phone wouldn't that do?

Personally, I don't even know why a little kid would even HAVE an iPhone.

I have a razor by the way. 4 years and still going strong with the original battery :)
For me the size of the screen makes it better because i watch a lot of tv on it, and read kindle books on it aswell. I hate apple though they are over priced shit, i got a free ipad 2 from university and sold it straight away. The one thing wrong with my phone is the battery does not last very long when on the internet. I used to have a rzr, the one with a flip screen, absolute sexiness.

Alot of iphone users (not all but most!) are mindless followers who don't even use the technology to it's fullest potential, so why even bother to have it? You can play angry birds on even cheapy phones.
Don't feel bad about not having up-to-date technology, in two months time it will be outdated anyway :P
I don't have an iPhone. Honestly though I don't really care about having the latest in technology and gadgets and such, it's not really my cup of tea. & it seems like people spend a fortune getting the new phone/tablet/laptop etc... and just a year later the new version of the same product comes out rendering your version obsolete! I think it's more of a fad type of thing and trying to keep up with the Joneses. But I usually like things that are timeless as far as clothing, hairstyles, make-up etc... so maybe that's why I'm not interested in having the latest. I'm just not a trendy person I guess.
I don't own any apple products. I have nothing against them, I just simply don't own any.
Boyfriend's MacBook Pro got stolen a few weeks ago. And he switched his iphone for a blackberry and hasn't looked back. I also have a blackberry.
It angers me when I see little kids with such hi-tech devices. Smh, what a world...
i dont have an iphone because i dont like them. i dont like any apple products actually. and i dont want to rely on technology. give me a pen and paper any day.
My android is okay but I'll get an iPhone soon. I think it's a good product n why not buy something that's of a superior quality? Although, I think those who keep all apple products are nuts. Buy what u need for the quality!
I'm in the exact same boat as you. I don't have an iPhone. I know a lot of people that do, but I just never really cared to get one because they are so expensive. Plus I heard that people tend to have problems out of them. I have an iPod Touch.
No. If that was so, than companies like android or windows would be bankrupt.
I don't have an Iphone, I have an android. Most people I see with smartphones have an android because there is such a wide variety of android phones.
I work for my country's largest Mobile Network Provider... I could have anything I want as a device. Iphone is just an overpriced "not-so-smartphone" with lots of disadvantages! I also don't see any reason in spending almost a month's paycheck in order to get one. Android is the king of the platforms and it's gonna stay with this title for a long period, trust me! I roll mainly with HTC, my current phone is Desire Z (witch kicks Iphone's ass) and I would strongly suggest HTC and Samsung as the best quality brands in the market!!! ;)
I don't own anything that was made after 2005, that includes game consoles, smart phones, etc.
I'm just an old fashioned person, I prefer basic website layouts and I only watch local TV.
I could have wrote this story myself. Look into planned obsolescence before you make the big decision though.

I don't have an iphone. I use my ipod touch. You can txt and call as long as you have wifi.
haha! No! you're NOT the only one who doesn't have an iphone. I have some apple products myself.. But whatever! A good working phone enough for me.
I don't own one, but I have an iPod touch which is close. It has music, tv episodes & many apps. It's less expensive, maybe you should look into getting one. Or the iPhone, if/when you can afford it.
It's okay, Chinese labourers are currently getting seriously ill and dying due to the chemical fumes to make these IPhones..... so justify it by considering yourself a Humanitarian or soemthing lol.
Yeah I watched a documentary (David Suz.) regarding the Health and Safety of workers and China, they talked about this issue. They have no rights as labourers and Apple "refuses to comment" on the issue. This issue was also discussed in an article in the Globe and Mail. Omg - read this article:
