Is it normal that i think nirvana ruined the spirit of rock/metal music?

Nirvana ruined rock/metal by turning it whinier, blander and less fun than it used to be before they hit the scene. Rock lost it's original purpose and now bands were suddenly singing about killing themselves instead and still do to a large extent. Rock turned to absolute degeneracy and it was sure to make Elvis and Hendrix roll in their graves.

    It’s normal of course. Many people do feel this way about Nirvana. It’s equally normal to like or dislike them. I love them personally. It’s all about personal taste.

    Grunge was a good thing, it was a reaction to the lame ass hair bands who had been so popular. Hair bands are awful! You want some good metal listen to some old Black Sabbath!

    Rock and roll just like any form of popular music is not a stagnant thing, it's constantly changing.

      unfortunately i think its done as far as big ole mainstream bands like in the 70s went

      it might be a good thang that big record labels aint manufacturin their latest craze but now to hear any good new acts yall gotta hit up the hipster live indie scene and i just sint got the patience for that shit

      i think grunge while it were great and reminds mea the lovely 90s it were the death knell for rock music

      after that it were nothin but airplanes flyin into buildins and brittney and cher with theys autotune crimes gainst humanity and other assortd atrocities
