Ozzy sometimes gets a lot of flack for his singing voice. I mean, Ozzy may not have the most raw talent at what he's doing. However, his uniqueness more than compensates for that, and uniqueness is arguably more important than talent in itself, IMO. Also, it fits incredibly well with that specific Sabbath sound.
There are some old sabbath songs where he shows some decent range. His voice stands out in a good way at least, which means it has something to it.
I actually prefer his personality over his singing. And I love his music. He did he whole “kids” album of his music for his grandkids.
Personally I dont know much of the artists work. But.... I will give him credit for biting a head off of a bat on stage. He rates pretty high on the cool factor for that.

He's known for doing all kinds of crazy shit. His wife kept chickens, a drugged and drunk ozzy shot all the chickens one night. He bit the head off a bat, he broke into some guy's house and stole baby clothes. He also tried stealing the TV, but it fell on him and broke.
Ozzy urinated on the Alamo and caused over 40000 dollars in damages at a hotel he thrashed XD
