Absolutely it is, it's extortionate. And what's annoying is when some escorts get all high and mighty, saying that they're providing a vital service helping out lonely people who need some human contact, and that they really care about the people they're helping. I mean not really. Its avalible so that's the route I'd probably go if I want to obtain it. Its prostitution, you know "the worlds oldest profession". Mainly because of how simplistic it is. Goverment standardization and overwatch is honestly the best way to implement having such an activity (that will always exist) stay at least moderately safe for the whores and the customers.
Regulating it legally, and having it controlled by the government, means that a portion of taxpayer dollars are going towards making sure whores have sex with as many men as possible, and get good buisness out of doing so. I'm sure as hell not supporting that.

Supply and demand simple as that. People are willing to pay 300 dollars for a prostitute. Honestly the risk cost analysis would also favor the prostitute here. A 5$ blowjob would only be requested by a poor motherfucker exponentially increasing the chance of being screwed over by said poor motherfucker.
Voting yes just to balance out the results, I don't really care either way. Lowering their prices would make it more equitable and affordable without rearranging your finances, but then again, do you really want an affordable hooker? No. The answer is no.
