The longer the password, the safer it is. As long as you're able to remember them all, what you do is sensible.
Some people seem to have a natural ability to do that, but I can't, so I've used LastPass for several years now.
I remember my master password for 1Password, which is super great app and I can't imagine my life without it anymore. For pages I don't really care I use one of my 2-3 password, which are shorter.
I don't discuss my passwords or logic for passwords with people. I have no gauge for what is a normal password.
Mines so long most websites need me to shorten it, my longest is 38 characters
I have one medium length password that I use everywhere. Hackers ain't gonna find shit if they hack me.
i created a long password thats pretty random a while ago and i use it often for a lot of platforms. long > short anyways for passwords haha
We have passwords at work that we have to change every couple months or so, I usually pick words that I think will be healthy for me to type, think, and say hundreds of times a day
For personal passwords I usually have a baseline password that changes based on requirements, capital letter, numbers, special character etc
I never bother remembering my passwords and just end up using my email to reset them every time I log into anything
In high school through college I had a couple of them. Nowadays I use one 14 character password after realizing I had started to forget them.
It's pretty normal. Longer passwords are a much safer thing to use than shorter ones.
