Is it normal that i want to go to college for fun, not a career?

I work full-time - not much money, but I'm happy. I have a B.A. but I want to go back as a part-time student in a different subject mostly for personal fulfillment cause I'm interested in the subject and I thrived in a school environment as opposed to learning by myself.

But, I know a lot of people would say I'm just wasting money if I'm not seriously pursuing a career out of it or actively trying to get a "better" job. If a better job comes out of it, awesome, but it's not as important to me.

I STRONGLY encourage this! Passion for learning for the sake of loving it is beautiful.

When I clicked this post, I thought it was gonna be about beer pong, sex and drugs. Why not learn if you want to? I mean, I wouldn't wanna any more debt from school myself, but do what you want,

I've never actually played drinking games. Drinking games bore me.

I got my last degree debt-free so I know I can do it again, especially if I go part time where the fees will be smaller.

I'm not sure if you actually want to pursue a second degree in whatever subject you happen to be interested in, but if you're merely looking into attending classes for personal fulfillment, you could seek out lecture classes, and visiting speakers at a large university and sneak in for free. Unless it's a smaller class, they won't notice your presence. Some of the lecture classes at larger universities go beyond survey classes, and can be quite interesting.

If that's not a possibility, I see no problem with taking supplemental classes on your own accord. If you can afford it, why not?
