Is it normal that i want to move to africa

Not to just be in social culture but to live an upright life. I live in michigan and I'm nineteen

I want to know the reality of God.

And I will not find it in European society, living in a world built on inquity from the beginning.

I do not mean to minimize anyone personally. I am not some hateful, anti-social, depressed person.

I want to culivate an atmosphere that is healthy; good homes, eating right everyday, luxury and true friendship and making a circle of brothers and sisters

I also want to build knowledge and wisdom. Learn the nature of man and its accordance with the life of the planets. Learning nature, science, mathematics that I may be practical.

No Western studies. Since Western civilization is an infant on the earth they cannot and do not teach one hundred per cent truth, so I must go to he root of the science and mathematics that USA and Europe use but did not create.

Work for my food, work for shelter, work that I may have luxury and pursue happiness. Become civilized man on earth with other civilized brothers and sisters in a society that fits me but may not fit the lifestyle of decadence in America.

I want to learn Arabic that I may read the word of that one god Whose Name is Allah; etymology to understand the word of God. And live in a cultue of love that I may live the word of God. And do not get it twisted the Holy Word was Written in my ancestors' genetic make up before it was ever on stone.

My real dream is to leave Europe and trace my Arab/Middle Eastern/Indian roots (I'm an English born Pakistani) - my ultimate fantasy is walking out of my mountain hut to a beautiful sunrise, walking down the mountain to my field, doing my labor, going into town and sell some crops, hang out there for a few hours, and then returning to my hut for ultimate peace, wisdom and shamanic journeys. And then repeat.

    wow. that's beautiful.

i've just moved to the west from africa and i hate - there's so much more peace there. immodesty, immorality, extravagance, the rat race - its everywhere and it makes me so restless. Islam promotes and preaches simplicity and morality, contentment and wholeness. Muhammad, peace be upon him, has also said that one of the times you should perform Hijrah, or migration, is when you are living in a dar ul fitna - a place of fitna (sin)... move to a place of Dar us Salaam, a place of Peace. if you are not happy with where you are right now, if its keeping you from progressing spiritually, then by all means, move. but know that not all of Africa is peaceful spiritually - western influence has reached many countries over there. do your research, get in touch with your ulema and elders for guidance, make inquiries, listen to Maulana Sulayman Khatani for inspiration... also bear in mind, that whilst waiting for your dream to move to a place of peace is a work in progress, don't forget to create a Dar us Salaam inside your qalb, your heart, your soul.... so that no matter where you go, who you meet, what you're faced with, you will always be at peace. go to www.IslamicSpirituality.org and listen to the lectures on Tazkiyya, purification of the soul, given by Shaykh Kamaal ud Deen Ahmad. if you need any more help, let me know.

Well if you want different, Africa is very different from the western world, and you might regret it.
And you want to know the "reality of god"?
I personally think the reality is that god was made by human imagination.
    But good luck anyway.
