Is it normal that i was so unassertive my voice never fully developed

For years I was simply dissident from the sociological normalcy so I never talked much, and as such my voice never developed properly., However as I grew order I cared less about the over serious tone I had set and started opening up a bit. A couple years later it still hurts to talk normally!

Same here. I was gonna post a similar question because I wondered if this was actually possible. I used to be what is now called selective mute, I'm 23 now and it physically hurts my throat to "speak up" and makes me feel fatigued, my voice is always cracking too.

Try reciting song lyrics once or twice everyday at a volume your comfortable with, and slowly go louder and louder until your throat adjusts.

I honestly don't know, because I've never had a problem speaking; I used to make my living from my voice.
