Is it normal that me and my best friend's conversation are awkward?

My best friend and I have been friends since 6th grade, we are now both 18 year old. We used to go to the same school, but after our freshman year, she moved. However, we decided to keep in touch. We video chatted and texted each other often, our relationship was still amazing. That was until 2 years after she moved, we then started losing contact because we were both very busy. We barely talk anymore and haven't video chatted in three months. I am visiting her this week but I'm afraid things will be awkward between us. Is this normal??

    Yeah, pretty normal. I still keep in touch with some of my high school friends, but some I only see a couple times a year. I can't imagine too much has changed in 3 months, perhaps you're overthinking it.
