Is it normal that my balls feel super sore after long cuddling sessions?

I cuddled with a girl I met three times now, each time was several hours long and involved some kissing, spooning and touching each other. I had an erection most of the time, but we never had sex and I didn't cum. Every time she leaves I notice my balls really really hurt, like they've been punched hard repeatedly and are super sore - just touching them is enough to cause sharp pain. My best guess is having an erection for such a long time without cumming is the cause. Is this normal?

Ive noticed this if I masturbate too long without finishing I get that pain. Its probably something to do with semen filling your pipes and building up pressure.

Masturbation before you meet up would probably help limit the build-up of tension during your sessions. Masturbating afterwards when you're feeling uncomfortable would help relieve the pressure, too, although my experience is that the orgasm won't be as pleasurable as normal, and more a matter of relief.

Our evolutionary ancestors had sex pretty much immediately whenever they encountered a sexually attractive partner. The instinctive part of our brains that controls sexual arousal and the parts of our bodies that deal with that haven't changed much, but the rules we must live by have. That conflict between your "lizard brain" and your civilised brain is the source of the problem you've experienced.

BTW, I've heard that some women experience something similar to blue balls, although lengthy periods of elevated blood flow to their genitals apparently isn't as uncomfortable for most of them.

Your best guess is the correct guess.

The medical term for what you've experienced is epididymal hypertension, but donteat has already told you the common name for the phenomenon.

It's about prolonged elevated blood-flow to your genitals. It can be extremely uncomfortable, but it's not harmful.
