Is it normal that my body seems to change shortly after making lifestyle changes?
I just started eating healthy and exercising by walking for at least an hour everyday. I'm well aware that I may not have actually gained much, but I gained 4 pounds in 4 months. I'm doing something about it now before it gets worse because I've neglected insignificant weight gain before, but that's exactly why I ended up gaining too much weight. I was 145 pounds before I gained weight, but I weighed 149 pounds when I first checked my weight on Monday of this week. I'm also 23-year-old female who is about 5'7. I haven't checked to see if I lost anything yet, but I noticed that my body, specifically my abdominal area, seems to already be changing. Maybe it's the initial water weight/bloating that I'm getting rid of. Has anyone else noticed anything like this before?
