Is it normal that my dad takes the lord's name in vain when watching sports?

Well, when his team is losing.
It is not like a quick "god damnit!" but more like the very gates of hell opened and Satan himself is cursing God.

He will watch a play closely and when his team fucks up (AND is already losing) He will take a deep breath and holler "GOD DAMN IT!" so loud that the walls shake, car alarms go off, dogs start barking, neighbors wonder what that strange thunder was...

Sometimes he will just say "FUUUUUUUCK!" in a disappointed tone.

It is fuckin' hilarious to watch him get so worked up...

But yeah, do normal people literally holler the lord's name in vain just because their team is losing?

  • Yelling that loud is not normal, but what's he's saying is.

  • One time I was in my room and heard him make some kind of screaming noise cannot even describe. I went in his room to make sure he was OK and he pointed at the game on TV and said, "Those (n word) don't want to get out there and go to work!

I fucking lost it. I mean I about died laughing.

My elderly parents always watch Fox News, then yell and curse at the TV all day! I hate it! They also watch sports, and yell at the TV. I find it all to be way too annoying.
