Is it normal that my friend acts like a celebrity?

I have a friend whom I adore dearly yet everything she does is way overly dramatic. She is obsessed with the attention she receives and I am becoming concerned. She even told me once how she likes to pretend that she is the star if her own life, as if she were in a movie or something. Is this something she may need help with? I don't want to continue to watch her go down this road of embarrassment but don't know what to do.

    Your friend has got the "Douche". I'm sorry, but it's probably too late for your friend... Ounce a person catches this disease the become very problematic in their lives, as well as the people around them. As well as it being permanent. The only way to cure your friend is to find the sharpest object in his/her home, and slowly, ever so slowly, violently shove it in his/her left eye... In all seriousness, however, there is no way to help your friend, and this personality trait is way too common... Or it may even be housewife of who the fuck cares syndrome!!! The only way to cure that is with a camping trip... Or a mild insult at how their eyelashes are too short.
