Is it normal that my friend won't take a picture?

My friend (he is a boy) when we were taking a group picture for christmas as a memory for the year in school he wasn't accepting to come and take this picture with us!! I don't know why! So i told my other friend what happened so she went to him and asked him if she could a picture with him but his anwser was no! So what should i do to convince him that its not as bad as he thinks (to take a pic)??

    If he's hates vain people he might associate pictures of himself to vanity

    I hate taking pictures also I'm not a photo genic person.so itsnormal n I wudnt stress it or care too much.

    He might be in the witness protection program or is under cover or even a covert agent. He doesn't wan't to blow his cover. But whatever his reasons are, if he doesn't want his photo taken, quit bugging him.

    I bet if you take a picture of him and reverse image search it you'll find something he doesn't want you to know.
