Is it normal that my grandfather peed his pants?

My Grandfather peed his pants and my Grandmother had to ask to use my underwear and shorts. Is this normal? He's 80 years old if this helps.

    Its very common for older adults to loose control of their bladder.

    Certain injuries or illnesses can cause that to happen to the younger as well.
