Is it normal that my kitten is sneezing

I just got her 2 days ago. She's 9 weeks old and is sneezing clear stuff. Her eyes and nose arent running. She sneezes maybe 10-15 times a day. She's acting normal and eating. Is she sick or is it allergies? The pollen count is really high.

Kittens are more prone to upper respiratory infections, which cause sneezing. It's more common when they come from a pet store or shelter. Take the kitty's vaccination record with you to the vet.

One of my cats would sneeze all the time until we bought an air purifier.

How is your kitten doing? Is she ok?

Cats can get colds very easily and it's going around right now. Make sure you keep her away from other cats because it spreads like a wild fire. Allergies are also a possibility. If it's a cold, you don't have much to worry about, unless she is FIV positive. If she is FIV positive, it would be incredibly hard to fight the cold. Just keep an eye on her, and if you notice any other signs of illness, take her to the vet. Good luck!

It could be allergies or Feline Herpes. My cat has the virus in her system (it never goes away completely once they get it) and when she gets sick, she starts sneezing. Her eyes also begin to swell and they might start to water. Check for that in your cat. My cat had sneezed without being sick. I once used a Shea butter and wildflower soap. Every time I washed my hands in it and proceeded to pet her afterwards, she would sneeze.

Did you get an opinion from the vet when calling to set an appointment? I don't think it's allergies or pollen -- animals aren't susceptible to the same allergens as humans are. It seems like a respiratory issue/infection. She'll be okay after the visit to the vet don't worry, but until the appointment make sure she has water available to drink.

It could be allergies but seeing as she's a kitten its just best to get everything checked out. Just like you would with a human baby, you know?
